How to Change a Password
Password Resets
A password reset exists to enable a user to reset a forgotten password. If a user has forgotten their password, then they may use the steps below to reset their password: A password reset exists to enable a user to reset a forgotten password.
- On the Login screen, click on the "Forgot Your Password?" link.
- Fill in your Apollo Online username and click on the "Send Password Reset Link" button.
- A Password Reset email will be sent with instructions on how to reset your password.
Password Policy
Passwords must be a minimum length of 6 characters.
Multiple Failed Login Attempts
Multiple failed login attempts will lock users out of the site. The locked out user will have to wait for the lock out period to expire before trying again. Keep in mind that subsequent attempts to login before the login period is over will increase the wait period.
TIP: Apollo Online Support does not have access to your password.
Information Security Tips about sharing your password
- As a user, you should never share your Apollo Online or other passwords with anyone. You should also never send your Apollo Online user id and/or password to anyone in an email. This includes sending an email with user id or password to CustomerService@aalberts-ips.com . You are responsible for everything done on the system using your ID and password.
- You or your co-workers should never have access each others' passwords. If a co-worker needs access to Apollo Online please have them register online to receive their own login credentials.
- Not even your own IT staff should ask for a user's password, If IT needs the password to assist with troubleshooting an issue the IT person should insist that the user type in the password. Make it possible to say with confidence that no one at your organization will ever ask each other to share passwords.
